Happy Monday! You can all guess that is is a setup

Happy Monday! You can all guess that is is a setup photo: there is no way I am drawing without my glasses on and 3 cm from a nice plant, BUT, this little sketchbook is real and before making a pattern, whether it is one of my designs or a client's, I need to draw and take some notes to make sure I've got the design details and finishes all printed in my head. How the garment is closed (zip, elastic, buttons?), front and back view, what pockets and where they are on the garment, etc. It doesn't matter if the drawings are ugly, they just need to be understandable by me. #sketchbook #sketching #patterncutting #patterncutter

As you may know, I am going to the London College

As you may know, I am going to the London College of Fashion to do a Pattern Cutting BA (=Bac+3 modélisme for the French) and the final year is about designing and making our own collection based on a unique concept. We have to design a collection of 12 looks and sew 6 out of these. Here is my concept and some research images I am using to design my collection. So far I have designed half of the collection and made 2 looks out of the 6. I have to make the remaining 4 for beginning of May.
