What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Leaving comments on the blog
When you leave comments on our website we collect your name, email, website (optional), and also your IP address and browser information. This data is processed by us on WordPress (website provider) in order to display authentic comments on our blog, and help spam detection.
Contact forms and emails
When you contact us using one of our contact forms, we collect your name, email and query. This data is processed by us on WordPress (website provider) and on Outlook (email provider), in order to answer your query.
Placing an order
When you place an order, with or without creating an account, on Camimade, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address and shipping address. We use two payments providers to take your payment, Stripe or Paypal (you can choose whichever you prefer to pay with).
We use Stripe for payment, analytics, and other business services. Stripe collects identifying information about the devices that connect to its services. Stripe uses this information to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including for fraud detection. Your payment card details are collected by Paypal on their own secure page and we do not store them. This information allows us to process your order, ship it out to you, facilitate refunds or exchanges and get in touch with you should there be any problems. This data is processed by us using WooCommerce (e-commerce platform) and PayPal (online payment gateway).
Signing up to our newsletter
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your name and email address. This data is processed by us on Mailchimp (marketing automation platform) in order to send you news and offers.
Analytics
When visiting our website, we collect anonymised analytics about your visit (IP address, browser information, location, length of browsing sessions, etc.). We are using Google Analytics to collect this data, in order to analyse the traffic on this website and measure the efficiency of our contents and campaigns. This is enabled by the use of cookies, explained in our cookie policy.

If you are registered to our newsletter and no longer wish to receive it, you can unsubscribe at any time via email at hello@camimade.com or by clicking on the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our newsletter emails.
If at any point you wish to know which personal data we hold and we are processing about you, or if you do not wish for us to process it anymore or if you believe your personal data is incorrect or obsolete you can request to see the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us, and/or have it corrected or deleted by us by contacting us at hello@camimade.com. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We have in place all reasonable procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and we are dedicated to keeping it safe.
