The Coquillage pattern is still one of my favourite patterns. It comes with many options to choose from and detailed instructions. You can either use a pre-quilted fabric or create your own quilted fabric, just like me. For this sample, I only used scraps of fabrics from previous sewing projects. The pattern is available in English and French on my website camimade.com.

The Villers jacket pattern View C comes with a man

The Villers jacket pattern View C comes with a mandarin collar. This view is quite versatile and you can use a lot of different fabrics. I made mine in a medium weight textured cotton jacquard (I wouldn't go with a lighter weight than this). And I could easily see it made in a blue denim or a beautiful corduroy. I photographed this sample back in August 2025 on a (very windy) ferry trip to France with my other half, and it was a lot of fun. The pattern is available on my website camimade.com.

When the hem of a jacket (or top) is completely straight from back to front in womenswear, the front is shorter than the back when worn because of our bust. Pattern cutting is sometimes a bit counterintuitive but adding a slight curve at the bottom of the front can fix this issue. #patterncutting #patterncuttingtips #sewingpattern #patternmaking

I don’t really understand why people say 2026 is the new 2016 and I am not generally jumping on trends. That being said, when everybody started to post about their 2016, I thought I would l take a look at my old pictures to see if there was anything interesting about me that year (if I were to post something for instance! 😅).
