Hi everyone,
I’ve only started my autumnal sewing projects and I’d like to share everything that I plan to do with you!
I love autumn for skirts…and I’m going to make 3 of them. I wear a lot more skirts with tights than without so I get to wear a lot more skirts in autumn and winter in general.
One will be made using this black and white gingham cotton and the McCalls M7287 pattern which I already used once here.
Fabric bought in John Lewis
I will make 2 using the Erin skirt from Sew Over It City Break ebook. I’ll do a long version with a stretch yellow denim and lovely ivory and brown buttons.

I’ll do the second one in the short version using a green corduroy with some yellow-ish square-ish buttons…

I also want to make a pair of trousers. Now this is a bit more serious…I bought some nice and light brown melange wool and the plan is to make large and long trousers, like Marlene Dietrich or Joan Bennett in the 1930’s. This is my favourite trousers shape, high-waist, with pockets and turn-ups at the bottom. Boyish and chic. I don’t have a pattern for these so I will use my pattern-cutting skills and make a toile first! Finger crossed for this project!

I will also make a few tops, I’m not sure yet what shapes I will do, but I will figure it out soon.

I also have sewing plans for some Christmas gifts, even if it sounds really far, I need to get prepared!
